Sold as a pair, the white JBL Control 47LP is a passive 6.5″ coaxial low-profile ceiling loudspeaker with a multi-tap transformer designed for voice amplification and foreground music reproduction in a variety of venues ranging from retail stores to restaurants. The 60W transformer allows the Control 47LP to be driven by 70V, 100V, or 8-Ohm power amplifiers (available separately). Each Control 47LP is equipped with a durable 6.5″ polypropylene woofer and a 1″ soft dome tweeter, yielding a frequency response of 100 Hz to 17 kHz, and a continuous program power capacity of 150W.
Utilizing JBL’s RBI technology and a 10″ waveguide, the Control 47LP delivers a wide 120° coverage pattern. The 47LP’s slim design is well suited for installation in ceilings with limited vertical space. Removable locking input connectors, detachable grilles, cutout templates, paint shields, and C-ring / tile rail suspension systems contribute to easy installation.
