Description
Ampeg amplifiers have made essential contributions to many of the most iconic bass recordings and performances in history-and it is the breadth of that impact that makes Ampeg unique. Take a look at any big stage, and you’ll probably see an Ampeg SVT bass amp anchoring the bottom end. Similarly, talk to a top recording engineer about their bass tone secrets, and they’re bound to mention the Ampeg B-15 Portaflex, the legendary all-tube combo amp.
The Rocket Bass family of five combo amplifiers extends that singular legacy, bringing Portaflex styling, sound, and sonic versatility to the modern era. Rocket Bass combos feature a newly designed switchable Super Grit Technology overdrive circuit for warm and gutsy growl, as well as the same classic 3-band EQ with signature Ultra Hi/Ultra Lo switches that Ampeg aficionados know is critical to sculpting the perfect sound.
